Levi Strauss & Co. is a privately owned American clothing company known worldwide for its Levi’s brand of denim jeans with $4.6B in annual revenue. Tyrone manages the Men’s Bottoms apparel business with over $230M in annual sales representing 55% of total Levi’s U.S. Outlet’s revenue.
Additionally, he is a Board of Directors member for the Accounting Career Awareness Program which is an accounting based residency week long program that has been established to expose minority high school students to the career opportunities available in accounting, finance and other business related fields.
Previously, Tyrone was a Men’s Apparel Buyer and Strategic Planning Manager for Sears Holdings Corporation. Sears Holdings Corporation is the nation’s fourth largest broadline retailer with multi-billion in retail sales in 2016. Tyrone developed and managed key retail portfolios for multiple youth and adults leading brands such as Levis, Lee, Dockers, Dickies, and Walls. Markets include the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Puerto Rico. Prior to joining Sears, he was a senior consultant with KPMG, which is a global network providing Audit, Advisory and Tax services. He specialized in areas of revenue recognition, inventory analysis, financing, and operating expenses. He received four KPMG Encore Awards for going above and beyond his role and taking on difficult technical audit areas.
Tyrone graduated from the University of California, Berkeley (Cal) where he earned his Bachelor of Arts with honors in American Studies with a concentration in Business Administration (Innovation and Entrepreneurship) in May of 2010. He lives in Richmond, California
